A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Merchandiser to join our dynamic, diverse & forward-thinking Merchandising Team based at BEAUTY BAY HQ in Exchange Quay.
As part of our Merchandising Team, you will be excited by the opportunity to play your part in bringing BEAUTY BAY products from concept to actual repeatable sales using your forecasting, planning, and analytical skills.
Key responsibilities:
* Work closely with the NPD, Merchandising, Marketing & Trading Teams to implement a clear position in the market.
* Understand longer lead critical path management to minimise risks to launch plans and maintain high stock availability.
* Manage stock to achieve plan, supporting operational efficiency with clear management of the critical path to maximise sales & reduce terminal stock.
* Manage WSSI, ensuring sales are maximised and markdown costs are reduced.
* Develop promotional events in conjunction with marketing & markdown plans to deliver strategy & KPI’s.
* Analyse, interpret & present recommendations based on MI/market insight to SLT.
* Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to manage the launch of new products & limited edition collections.
* Plan assortment to establish clear options/buy quantity plans to maximise sales & profit.
* Undertake season lessons learned analysis & strategic pre-season planning.
* Coach & develop junior team members to optimise category sales & margin while minimising stock risk.
About you
* Ability to collaborate across stakeholders at BEAUTY BAY.
* A minimum of 6 years of previous experience within Merchandising, including online retail experience.
* Extensive stock management experience is essential.
* Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher).
* Experience in critical path management.
* Excellent analytical & numerical skills.
* Strong written & verbal communication skills.
* Online/E-Commerce retail experience is desirable.
* Ability to influence stakeholders confidently.
* Experience coaching and developing junior team members is preferred.
