What you will need:
* Specific post graduate experience as a cosmetic / personal care industry formulator, this is a must
* Have a strong work ethic, teamworking and communication skills
* Have a science degree in Chemistry / Cosmetic Science or a related field
What you will do:
* Be a key technical contact with clients on behalf of the business, which means you'll be communicating in a professional manner via email, face to face, ms teams and phone.
* Manage lots of projects across various accounts simultaneously, so you'll need to be super organised and punctual with strong attention to detail.
* Formulate and develop cosmetic formulations according to client briefs, so using your knowledge of science wizardry to come up with funky formulas that keeps the client happy and coming back for more
* Back up the commercial team with your science and technical know how at face to face meetings
* Keep up to date with all stability and batch associated paperwork, ensuring the clients are kept informed throughout the project
* Build mutually sound relationships with suppliers, keeping up to date with trends and innovations.
* Attend seminars, workshops, tradeshows and events to stay at the forefront of cosmetic science innovation and develop your own knowledge of the wider industry
