Overview
An exciting opportunity for a CCAB‑qualified Accountant to join the finance team at Barts Health NHS Trust. The role supports the Head of Finance and Deputy Head of Finance, manages a team of accountants, and delivers accurate financial reporting and business partnering to improve performance.
Responsibilities
* Support Head of Finance and Deputy Head of Finance in all financial management duties across the service area.
* Lead a team of accountants to provide daily support in financial performance and business partnering.
* Prepare and deliver accurate, timely monthly performance reports for presentation at business unit Board meetings.
* Provide analytical review of reported performance and influence actions based on findings.
Qualifications and Requirements
* CCAB qualified Accountant.
* Self‑motivated, proactive with strong planning and organisational skills.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Experience in financial management within a complex healthcare or similar environment is desirable.
