SEN Primary Teacher
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated SEN Primary Teacher to join a welcoming and well-resourced primary SEN school in Chessington, with an immediate start available.
This vibrant and inclusive SEN school is committed to meeting the individual needs of pupils with a range of special educational needs. The successful candidate will take responsibility for a Key Stage 2 class, delivering personalised learning and creating a nurturing environment where every child can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
Role Details:
Full-time, term-time position
Immediate start
KS2 class within a specialist primary SEN setting
Supportive leadership team and strong multi-disciplinary collaboration
Access to excellent resources and specialist support
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual EHCPs
Lead a KS2 class, fostering a structured, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, the SENCO, therapists, and external professionals
Support pupils' emotional regulation, independence, and social development
Promote positive behaviour strategies and build strong, trusting relationships
What We're Looking For:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience teaching pupils with SEN, ideally within KS2 or a primary SEN setting
Strong understanding of differentiated teaching and personalised learning approaches
Excellent classroom management and communication skills
