An Associate Director Renewable Energy Procurement is needed to join a leading global consultancy organisation in a specialist procurement division in Bristol.
Associate Director Renewable Energy Procurement will work alongside a highly skilled team delivering best-in-class strategic procurement and contract advice, including end-to-end procurement services.
This role provides the opportunity to develop capital procurement and consultancy experience, working with highly skilled teams to deliver industry-leading programmes and projects advice to large global brands and on some of the most exciting transformational energy investments.

Responsibilities and Duties
* Lead procurement engagements across multiple programmes, projects, and commissions, helping clients progress towards better green, sustainable outcomes across renewable energy asset types.
* Deliver and improve clients’ performance and meet targets across key capital procurement themes.
* Drive the development of renewable energy procurement services.
* Lead and drive business development for renewable energy procurement and marketing requirements.
* Provide leadership and drive the delivery of team and business targets, including Business Generation, Service Excellence, Operational, and People growth objectives.
* Be a business leader, coach, and talent developer.
Desired Skills and Experience
Experience in technologies such as Hydro-Electric, Wind, Tidal, Energy from Waste, Hydrogen, Solar, Carbon Capture, Net Zero, Biofuels, Geothermal is desirable but not essential.
* Knowledge and experience with embedding excellence into end-to-end procurement activities.
* Core skills across procurement, supply chain management, and contract management, including strategy, contract management, supplier evaluation, negotiation, and award.
* Procurement consulting experience from client, contractor, or professional services organizations.
* Experience in responsible sourcing areas: human rights, environment, health and safety, anti-bribery & corruption, labor practices.
* Good understanding of the UK and international energy sectors, related technologies, and regulations is desirable.
* Experience of successful supplier engagement.
Qualifications/Educational Requirements
* A degree related to construction, civil engineering, quantity surveying, law, or procurement is preferred.
* Either CIPS Level 4 achieved or willing to work towards.
