Key Responsibilities:
* Take ownership of internal quality processes, ensuring compliance with customer and industry standards.
* Lead and coordinate quality management systems, particularly aligned with AS9120 and AS9100 standards.
* Prepare for and manage audit processes, ensuring operational readiness and compliance.
* Work closely with operations to ensure accurate supply of cut materials to customer specifications.
* Oversee and maintain control over raw material stock, subcontracted performance, and in-house storing processes.
* Collaborate with internal teams and subcontractors to ensure technical product specifications are consistently met.
* Support the development of quality-focused best practices, with a view to transition into a broader operations management role.
Requirements:
* Strong background in quality management, with experience managing internal quality systems.
* Familiarity with AS9120 and AS9100 aerospace standards and their audit requirements.
* Experience working with technical specifications of products, ideally in metals, manufacturing, or engineering.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage processes across stock control, subcontracted work, and operational procedures.
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with a process improvement mindset.
* Experience in a small business or SME environment would be advantageous.
