Job Description
Sheridan Maine is recruiting a Finance Systems & Reporting Accountant for a 6-month fixed-term contract. This role will support the finance team across budgeting, forecasting, statutory reporting, audit, and finance systems, ensuring accurate group reporting and smooth year-end delivery. This is a hands-on and varied role, ideal for a finance professional with strong reporting, systems, and analytical skills. Remote working is available, with some on-site collaboration required.Key Responsibilities
* Support the preparation, upload, and reconciliation of budgets, forecasts, and actuals within the group reporting system.
* Assist with finance system maintenance, integration, and troubleshooting.
* Support the preparation of statutory accounts and year-end reporting schedules.
* Assist with group consolidation and regulatory reporting.
* Provide audit and external reporting support.
Skills & Experience Required
* Experience in financial reporting, management accounting, budgeting, or finance systems.
* Strong Excel and IT skills.
* Qualified, part-qualified, or qualified by experience (ACA / ACCA / CIMA / AAT).
* Strong analytical ability with excellent attention to detail.
* Confident communicator, comfortable working with senior stakeholders.
