The Project
Mace is engaging in potential new opportunities in Lancashire within the defence sector and is coming to market early to understand expressions of interest for roles. These include Project and Programme Management, Project Control, Cost and Commercial, health and safety, security and other key delivery areas.
Requirements and Criteria
* Hold or be able to obtain security clearance to a minimum of SC.
* UK national – dual nationality will not be considered at this time.
* Hold relevant industry experience for roles.
* Defence experience is preferable.
* Construction experience is desirable.

You will manage tasks and associated deliverables in support of Project Managers and senior leaders, alongside the wider project and client teams, to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of the project.

You will develop effective relationships with design and wider consultant teams in a collaborative manner to ensure effective completion of responsibilities.
You will actively network and seek understanding of best practice, utilising the full depth of knowledge of Mace group, the centres of excellence, Mace way control centre and knowledge hub.
You will manage parts of projects independently, with oversight from other Project Managers.
You’ll Need To Have
* Membership of RICS, CIOB, APM, ICE or equivalent demonstrable professional or personal development.
* Experience in project management, ideally in a property or infrastructure sector.
* A developing knowledge of commercial and financial considerations.
* Experience of developing and forming relationships with other stakeholders within projects.
* Knowledge of how carbon and sustainability considerations will shape the outlook of the projects you are working on.
