We are currently recruiting a enthusiastic and reliable PE Assistant to support the delivery of high-quality physical education and sports activities within a secondary school based in Liverpool. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about sport, fitness, and promoting healthy lifestyles among children and young people. Key Responsibilities: * Support the PE teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive PE lessons * Assist with the preparation, setup, and storage of sports equipment * Support pupils during practical activities, ensuring safety and participation * Encourage teamwork, sportsmanship, and positive behaviour * Assist with warm-ups, drills, and skill-based activities * Support pupils of all abilities, including those with SEN, to access PE lessons * Supervise pupils during indoor and outdoor activities * Maintain a safe learning environment by following health and safety procedures * Support school sports events, fixtures, and extracurricular clubs Person Specification: * Interest or background in sport, fitness, or physical education * Confident, energetic, and positive approach * Ability to motivate and engage pupils * Strong communication and teamwork skills * Commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing This is a rewarding opportunity to make a genuine difference in the lives of pupils with complex needs in a supportive specialist school environment.
