Senior ICT Business Partner – 6 Month Contract - £450 per day, Outside IR35
Hybrid – Locations: Kidlington / Southampton
*Policing/Law Enforcement/Public Sector experience highly desirable
We are working with a leading public sector organisation to recruit a Senior ICT Business Partner for an initial 6-month contract. This is a key leadership role acting as the bridge between ICT and senior stakeholders across the organisation, driving value, service improvements, and future ICT strategy.
About the Role: As the Senior ICT Business Partner, you will lead the relationship between ICT and the wider business, ensuring ICT services are aligned to organisational priorities and driving continuous improvement. You’ll work at C-Suite and Director level to shape ICT’s contribution to strategic objectives, manage service delivery portfolios, and ensure that technology is fully leveraged to support operational success.

Key Responsibilities:
* Act as a trusted partner to Chief Officers and senior stakeholders, shaping ICT’s role in delivering business objectives.
* Lead a portfolio of ICT services, ensuring delivery is fit-for-purpose, efficient, and meeting service level agreements.
* Drive service improvements and business change initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction.
* Develop and negotiate SLAs and service delivery plans, ensuring they meet evolving business needs.
* Lead, manage, and develop a team of ICT Business Partners.
* Represent the organisation externally on ICT business engagement matters.
* Support strategic national initiatives and cross-force collaboration.
Essential Skills & Experience:
* Proven experience as an ICT Manager or Senior Business Partner in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment.
* Strong track record of stakeholder engagement at Director and Chief Officer level.
* Excellent communication and influencing skills with the ability to drive outcomes without direct authority.
* Expertise in ITIL service management, ISO 9001, ISO 27001, and business improvement methodologies (Lean/Six Sigma).
* Deep understanding of ICT service delivery economics and business case development.
* Experience in process mapping, supplier management, and delivering service improvement plans.
* Flexibility to travel across multiple sites as required.
Desirable:
* Exposure to public sector or policing environments is a plus.
