We’re looking for a Lab Stores Technician to join our team in Ellesmere Port. This is a great opportunity for someone organised, proactive, and happy working in a fast-paced environment supporting laboratory operations.
What you’ll be doing
1. Managing the receipt, booking in, and storage of laboratory samples and equipment
2. Ensuring items are tracked accurately and are easy to locate when needed
3. Supporting the lab by retrieving samples quickly and efficiently
4. Carrying out stock checks and ordering consumables to maintain supply levels
5. Liaising with internal teams and customers regarding deliveries and queries
6. Supporting the safe dispatch of samples, including those under Dangerous Goods regulations
7. Helping maintain high standards across quality, safety, and service delivery
Qualifications
What we’re looking for
8. Strong organisational skills with good attention to detail
9. Confident communicator who can work well with different teams
10. Able to manage workload and prioritise in a busy environment
11. IT literate (comfortable using systems and MS Office)
12. A proactive, team-focused approach
13. Experience in a lab, stores, or service environment is beneficial

15. Full training provided, including for specialist areas such as sample dispatch
