Previous experience and Knowledge: Academic background in Maths/Finance/Economics/Engineering. Minimum of 7 years of experience as a Fixed Income Credit Market Maker. Overview European Investment Grade Credit - Market making and risk hedging strategy for the financial sector bond trading activity, seeking to maximize the franchise in the product distribution to clients/investors whilst promoting the excellence in the service offered to both internal/ external clients. Dealing with clients and investors to service their flow business and support our DCM activity. Collaborate with the Global Product ( FI ) Trading Manager in defining the Bonds Flow strategy in the region under his/ her responsibility, focusing on meeting internal and external customers' needs and complying with the risk and regulatory requirements. Generate recurring income in order to meet the revenues targets that are set each year. Help desk coordination, delegating tasks amongst his/ her team based on their product specialization, position and workload. Follow up and supervision of all on-going trading activity, helping in solving problems and bottlenecks as needed. Support the bonds desk in their market making activity, quoting the most relevant transactions, as required. Manage the approval for operations that exceed given risk limits. Focus on promoting the excellence in the service offered to the clients. Interest Rate hedging, ensuring that risk exposure is balanced so that there is no overexposure to a certain underlying term, currency, etc. Coordinate the desk risks macro hedging, being responsible for maintaining the global risk within the acceptable/ allowed limit. Encourage the coordination and strategic alignment with other Global Markets desks and internal areas. Foster the collaboration with the Sales desks to set commercial targets for different products and with other Global Rates trading desks in order to mainstream the market knowledge and create synergies in the operations' profitability and risk management. Track the bonds and repos flow trading books and activity, monitoring main trading indicators such as P&L and hit/ miss ratio. Assist in solving problems and incidences, as required. Lead a key role in promoting the bank's positioning within bonds and repos flow business, meeting external customers and encouraging the innovation and efficiency within the team and stakeholders, with the objective to add value to the customers. Ensure that desks activity complies with both internal and external operational policies, procedures and regulatory requirements. Introduce the bonds and repo flow activity to both internal and external clients.
