About the role
STF (Specialist Teaching Facility) Teaching Assistant
Vision for Education urgently need Teaching Assistants in the Llanelli area to support pupils with a range of Additional Learning Needs (ALN), including Autism Spectrum Conditions and ADHD, within Special Teaching Facilities (STFs) based in primary schools.
We work closely with a variety of schools that offer specialist support provisions and can provide flexible supply opportunities to match your availability.
We are looking for enthusiastic, adaptable and resilient individuals who are passionate about supporting children and young people with additional needs. Successful candidates will demonstrate excellent communication skills, a positive attitude and the ability to work collaboratively alongside teachers and school staff to create a supportive learning environment.
Previous experience working with children or young people with ALN is highly desirable.
The Role
1. Supporting primary-aged pupils on a 1:1 basis or in small groups
2. Assisting pupils with a range of additional learning needs
3. Working closely with teaching staff and wider support teams
4. Helping to promote a positive, inclusive and engaging classroom environment
5. Flexible supply work available to suit your schedule
