Job Description:
TXM Recruit is seeking a Facilities Mechanical Engineer for ultra-high-end mansions in Chertsey, Surrey. The role involves working 40 hours/week, Monday to Friday, with overtime and weekend shifts on a rota. Flexibility is required during the busy season (May-October).
Salary: £45,000 (Overtime after 40 hours at time and a half)
This role offers a challenging opportunity within a fast-paced, high-performing team renowned for excellent service. Responsibilities include:
* Delivering maintenance across building services with a focus on mechanical systems
* Supporting installation, planned, preventive, and reactive maintenance
* Servicing AHU, FCU, pumps, seals, bearings, and alignment
* Participating in on-call rota and seasonal shifts
* Prioritizing work to meet business needs
* Fault diagnosis and repairs
* Overseeing contractors and ensuring quality standards
* Providing technical support for building plant/equipment
* Adhering to health, safety, and environmental procedures
* Maintaining professionalism and confidentiality
* Providing cover during absences and following company policies

Knowledge, Experience, Skills, and Abilities:
* Engineering qualification (Apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 in mechanical/plumbing/HVAC)
* Experience with AHU, FCU, pumps, seals, bearings, and alignment
* Ability to write reports and job sheets electronically or manually
* Building Services experience
* Knowledge of BMS and electrical systems
* Full clean driving license
* Conscientious, reliable, punctual
