We have an amazing opportunity for a Driver/Rehabilitation Assistant to join our friendly team at Hunters Moor in Birmingham. This role will predominately be a Driver but during times this is not required they will support with Rehabilitation Assistant duties.

Hunters Moor accommodates 42 patients requiring neurorehabilitation, which may include complex physical rehabilitation needs.
We have onsite chefs that freshly prepare meals for all our residents ensuring every dish is of the highest quality.
Our physiotherapy gym allows residents to regain cognitive abilities whilst aiding them in the recovery process.
We have a private spacious garden, which allows residents to enjoy the outdoors at their own leisure in a safe environment.
What you'll be working:
37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Usually 9-5, but with some flexibility.
What you'll be doing:
Transporting patients in the company vehicles and mini-buses
Responsible for assisting patients on and off transport including wheelchair patients
Build relationships with patients, which are open and two way
Support patients to undertake their rehabilitation programme
Establish methods of communication with patients, reducing barriers when necessary
Support with activities of daily living and personal care when needed
Communicate any issues to the clinical team
Accurately report and/or record work activities
What you'll have:
* Full Driving Licence is essential
* Excellent Customer Service Skills
* Previous experience of working in a healthcare setting is desirable but not essential as training is provided
* A genuine interest in providing the best person centre care possible
* Successful candidates will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS
