Overview
The Pharmacy Department is looking to recruit an enthusiastic Pharmacy Dispenser to support the delivery of pharmacy services at HMP Northumberland. This is an opportunity to join a committed team delivering a variety of support roles across the establishment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are crucial, with the ability to work well as part of a multi-disciplinary team. If you are motivated and wish to enhance your pharmacy skills, a wide range of training and development opportunities is available.
Responsibilities
As a Pharmacy Dispenser, you will:
* Assist with the provision and delivery of an integrated, safe, legal, high-quality prison pharmaceutical service
* Maintain a high level of security at all times
* Be an integral member of the Healthcare Team
* Support the delivery of Pharmacy Services, including the supply of medication
* Supervise the administration of medication to prisoners
* Provide services to service users within your competency
