Software Engineer (Full Stack / Backend)

The Opportunity
You’ll be joining as one of the first engineers, helping to design and scale a next-generation data platform powered by AI. You’ll work across both the backend (.NET) and frontend (Next.js), building end-to-end experiences, from architecture to deployment. We ship quickly, value ownership, and iterate intelligently without unnecessary process.
What You’ll Do
* Design and implement APIs and backend services using .NET 8+ (C#)
* Build modern, responsive interfaces with Next.js and TypeScript
* Work in a cloud-native, event-driven environment using Azure serverless technologies (Functions, Container Apps, Event Grid, Service Bus, etc.)
* Collaborate across the full DevOps lifecycle — automate, test, deploy, and monitor
* Shape system architecture, improve performance, and enhance developer experience
* Use AI tools creatively to accelerate development, but always with a human-first mindset
About You
We’re looking for someone who’s motivated by both technical excellence and startup energy.
You’re:
* A capable backend or full-stack engineer with 3+ years of experience
* Skilled in TypeScript / Next.js and C# / .NET
* Comfortable with serverless or container-based architectures; experience with Azure is a plus
* Proactive, delivery-focused, and self-directed
* Collaborative and communicative — you like sharing progress and ideas
* Curious, adaptable, and not afraid to experiment (or fail fast and learn)
* Based in the UK
* Thoughtful about how and when to use AI — you solve problems first, prompt second
