Job Title: Foundation Stage Teaching Assistant (TA)

GSL Education are recruiting a Foundation Stage Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming nursery in Fareham.
Key Responsibilities of the Foundation Stage Teaching Assistant (TA):
* Support children in their early year’s development through play-based and structured activities.
* Assist the nursery teacher in delivering the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
* Provide one-to-one and small group support to children with varying needs.
* Encourage positive behaviour, independence, and social interaction.
* Help create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment.
* Support children’s personal care routines where required.
Requirements:
* Previous experience working with young children in an early years or nursery setting.
* Knowledge of the EYFS curriculum is desirable.
* A caring, patient, and proactive approach to supporting learning.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Have an up-to-date CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
