Senior Civil Engineer - Highway & Drainage
Location: Chichester
Our client, a leading civil engineering firm, is looking for a Senior Civil Engineer to join their Chichester team, delivering high‑value highway and drainage projects. This is a hands‑on role offering the chance to lead design work and shape complex infrastructure projects.
What You'll Be Doing
* Lead design and engineering for highway and below‑ground drainage schemes across a variety of projects.
* Manage projects from £10M to £100M, including residential, commercial, and industrial developments.
* Provide technical guidance on complex civil engineering challenges, from land development to multi‑unit residential sites.
* Collaborate with architects, planners, and contractors to ensure designs meet quality, schedule, and budget requirements.
What We're Looking For
* Strong Civil 3D experience – this will be your core tool.
* Proficiency with Flow/Costway and AutoCAD.
* Experience delivering large‑scale building, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
* Background in land development or interest in residential and mixed‑use developments.
* Proven ability to manage complex designs and mentor junior engineers.
