The Role
Based in the East Midlands, as Student Engagement and Recruitment Officer you will undertake student recruitment activity across the region, develop networks and sales channels to deliver against recruitment targets, and contribute to regional recruitment plans.
You will work with the Senior Student Engagement and Recruitment Manager to deliver regional strategies, drive performance to secure existing and new markets, and provide annual projections and recommendations for improvements. The role is sales-focused and involves representing Coventry University Group at exhibitions and events, presenting to schools and colleges, and developing links with educational institutions and other organisations across the East Midlands region.
The working pattern is five days over seven, including evenings and weekends as required. This is a regional role with regular travel within your designated region.
Responsibilities
 * Deliver regional student recruitment targets and develop sales channels.
 * Collaborate with recruitment, admission, and conversion teams to achieve targets.
 * Attend exhibitions, career conventions, and speak at schools/colleges.
 * Develop links with educational institutions and other organisations in the East Midlands region.
 * Contribute to recruitment plans and provide annual projections and improvement recommendations.
Requirements/Qualifications
 * Results-focused, target-driven with experience in sales or related roles, especially in developing medium- to long-term markets and pipelines.
 * Strong persuasion and influencing skills (oral, written, and presentation) with ability to build relationships at senior levels.
 * Excellent organisational, planning, and project management skills; willingness to travel and flexible approach.
 * Enhanced DBS check required.
