Rotherham Council is seeking a motivated and organised Administration Assistant to join Housing Property Services, working within the Housing Investment Team.
About the Role
We are looking for a highly organised and motivated individual to join our Housing Investment Team, providing essential administrative support to the Stock Surveying Team. Working closely with the Stock Surveying Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth delivery of a wide range of property‑related projects and programmes.
This is a great opportunity for someone with strong communication and administrative skills who is looking to develop their experience in a busy, customer‑focused service.
What You'll Be Doing
In this role, you will:
* Liaise with tenants, colleagues across the Council, and external stakeholders to arrange appointments and update team diaries.
* Maintain accurate records, ensuring information received is checked, logged, and kept up to date across our IT systems and databases.
* Raise purchase orders and manage stationery supplies to support day‑to‑day team operations.
* Provide administrative support across key Housing Investment workstreams, including:
* Stock Condition Surveys
* Tenant Alterations
* Fire‑Damaged Properties
* Structural Works
* Environmental Improvements
