 About the Role
 A leading manufacturer and integrator of automated material handling solutions is seeking a Controls Commissioning Engineer to join their growing technical team. The role focuses on commissioning and supporting automated conveyor systems at client sites, ensuring smooth deployment, technical accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
 Key Responsibilities:
 
Commission control systems on-site including PLCs, HMIs, sensors, and drives. 
Set up and fine-tune automated conveyor systems (telescopic, powered, flexible, etc.) 
Perform I/O checks, software testing, and fault diagnostics. 
Support electrical installation teams during system deployment. 
Liaise with internal engineering teams and project managers to ensure technical alignment. 
Train customer operators and maintenance staff on system controls and operation. 
Complete site reports, documentation, and technical sign-off. 
Follow all site safety protocols and electrical standards. Essential Skills & Experience:
 
Experience with industrial control systems (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley) 
PLC programming experience 
Solid knowledge of conveyor systems, motors, sensors, and safety devices 
Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams 
Familiar with HMI interfaces and I/O commissioning 
Good problem-solving and diagnostic skills
