Position available for a Trainee or Experienced Pharmacy Assistant / Dispenser for 24 hours a week, at our branch in Merriott, Somerset. Shifts are; Monday - Friday, 9am - 6pm. Flexibility of hours and days are available for the right candidate.
The branch is fully established and has excellent, friendly team to support anyone wishing to start a new career or in different environment.
You must be well presented, cheerful, well-mannered and punctual. You will need to have good IT skills and have good organisational and time management skills.
Duties include receiving, unpacking and putting away orders, greeting and receiving patients, labelling prescriptions, dispensing medicines, serving customers and providing valued advice, cleaning, merchandising, stock control, using a till, taking and placing orders and generally assisting the pharmacy team. You will be expected to learn quickly on the job and make notes.
