About the Role
As a Night Care Worker, you will support older people throughout the night, helping them feel safe, comfortable and well cared for within a calm and homely setting. Working as part of a dedicated night team, you will provide hands‑on care, reassurance and practical support, ensuring dignity and wellbeing are maintained at all times. This is a part‑time role, working 2 or 3 flexible night shifts per week.
What Your Night Could Involve
* Providing personal care and support in line with individual care plans
* Supporting residents with comfort, repositioning and toileting during the night
* Offering reassurance and emotional support to residents who may be unsettled
* Administering and recording medication where trained and authorised
* Monitoring wellbeing and responding appropriately to changes in residents’ needs
* Completing accurate night‑time records and handovers
* Maintaining a safe, clean and quiet environment throughout the night
About You
You will be a caring and reliable individual with experience in an older people’s care setting, or a genuine interest in working in care. You will hold an SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care, or be willing to work towards it. You will be a member of the SSSC and PVG, or willing to join, and comfortable working night shifts on a flexible basis. A calm approach, good communication skills and a commitment to person‑centred care are essential.

Employer’s Requirements
* Demonstrated Christian faith and ability to work within and uphold our Christian Ethos – a statutory requirement under Part 1 of Schedule 9 to the Equality Act 2010.
* Membership of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and completion of necessary vetting checks.
* Registration with the SSSC, with professional responsibility to meet the standards and criteria for registration.
* Legal entitlement to work in the UK, with proof to be verified upon hiring.
