About the role:
As a Commercial Manager UK, you will drive the sales process by identifying customer needs with the Account Team. Leading the capture team, you will collaborate with operational teams to develop technical solutions, delivery models, and value propositions before the RFQ is released. You will also participate in creating winning proposals and manage negotiations through to contract finalization.
You will report to the Sales Director and be based at Springfields.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Meet and exceed targets related to product sales, margins, pipeline growth, and win/loss ratios.
2. Lead opportunity development from identification to contract closure, building agreements with local stakeholders.
3. Maintain technical and sales knowledge to support product portfolio needs and facilitate interactions with customers.
4. Oversee capture strategies, including bundling opportunities and cross-product coordination to deliver customer-centric solutions.
5. Negotiate contracts with clients, ensuring alignment with internal teams including Account Managers, Product Management, Legal, and Finance.
6. Manage negotiations with consortium partners when relevant.
7. Maintain opportunity data within the CRM system.
8. Lead LOA and offer processes, securing stakeholder buy-in to meet Westinghouse and customer objectives.
Qualifications:
1. At least 7 years of experience working with Nuclear Utilities, preferably in Outage & Maintenance, site modifications, or operational roles.
2. Self-motivated with strong business development skills.
3. Customer-facing experience, especially with Belgian Nuclear Utilities, is preferred.
4. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
5. Deal-oriented with knowledge of nuclear plant operations and utility buying processes.
6. Knowledge of nuclear products and processes is a plus.
7. Fluent in English and French; Dutch is desirable.
