This is an exciting opportunity to join a market-leading Ground Service Equipment (GSE) provider supporting operations at Manchester Airport. Youll work on a wide range of specialist airport vehicles and equipment, combining workshop-based tasks with airside maintenance. No two days are the same! Vehicle Mechanic / HGV Mechanic- What Youll Be Doing Diagnosing, servicing, and repairing specialist airport equipment Working on vehicles such as aircraft tugs, towing tractors, baggage elevators, and other GSE Carrying out planned maintenance and reactive repairs Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with health & safety standards Supporting airport operations by keeping critical equipment serviceable and compliant Vehicle Mechanic / HGV Mechanic -What Were Looking For Level 3 City & Guilds / NVQ in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (essential) Experience maintaining heavy vehicles, HGVs, plant, or light vehicles Strong mechanical fault-finding skills Self-motivated with the ability to work independently Good understanding of health & safety procedures Experience with plant or airport equipment is desirable but not essential full training provided.
