Job Overview

We are seeking a professional and organised Receptionist/Administrator to join our team. This role involves managing front desk operations, providing administrative support, and ensuring smooth communication within the organisation. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organisational skills, be proficient in various computer applications, and demonstrate exceptional phone etiquette. Duties

* Greet visitors and clients in a courteous and professional manner
* Answer incoming calls, direct enquiries, and manage voicemail messages
* Handle data entry tasks accurately using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace applications
* Maintain and update records using QuickBooks and other relevant software programmes
* Organise appointments, meetings, and schedules efficiently
* Manage correspondence via email and postal mail
* Support administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and document preparation
* Assist with invoicing, billing, and basic bookkeeping functions
* Ensure the reception area remains tidy and welcoming at all times

Qualifications

* Proven office experience or administrative background
* Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Drive)
* Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is desirable
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
* Good typing speed and data entry accuracy
* Demonstrable phone etiquette and communication skills
* Previous clerical experience is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided for specific software systems
* Ability to work independently whilst maintaining attention to detail

This role requires a proactive individual who can manage multiple responsibilities efficiently while providing exceptional service to clients and colleagues alike.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £13.79-£14.42 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 30 per week
