PIMCO is looking to hire a Real Estate investment professional to join its dynamically growing alternatives team in London. The successful candidate will focus on underwriting, assist with the sourcing and execution of real estate and related investments across the EMEA region, and provide support for asset management efforts.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Support transactions throughout their lifecycle: origination, underwriting, managing due diligence processes, negotiations of transaction documentation, and asset management, including follow-on acquisitions and exits
* Support financing activities for both new and existing investments, including evaluation of different financing options, legal coordination and negotiation with lenders
* Support the preparation of investment memoranda to be presented to PIMCO investment committees
* Contribute to thematic reviews and strategic research for investment theses
* Work with the EMEA CRE equity asset management team on establishing initial business plans, business plan execution, performance monitoring and reporting, financing and exits of the investments. Experience will provide for a rounded exposure across the life cycle of an investment
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
The successful candidate will most likely come from investment banking, private equity or hedge funds and be able to demonstrate the following skills:
* Strong analytical skills and underwriting experience across real estate asset classes
* Execution experience, with ability to prioritize and meet multiple deadlines
* Entrepreneurial streak
* Strategic and problem-solving mindset with the capacity to think "outside of the box"

* European language skills considered an advantage
