We are closely working with a children's care provider who are establishing their brand new residential home in the East of England and are searching for an experienced Registered Manager to lead, manage and develop the team.
This is not a typical vacancy. You will shape the home from the ground up setting the culture, recruiting your team, leading registration, and building something you're truly proud of.
You'll have full support from the leadership team.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the Ofsted registration and set-up of the home end-to-end
* Recruit, train, and develop a trauma-informed, child-centred team
* Design and embed care practices, policies, and individual care plans
* Manage budgets, safeguarding, and ongoing Ofsted compliance
* Build relationships with local authorities, social workers, and families
Key Requirements
* 3+ years as a Registered Manager in a children's residential setting
* Proven track record leading a home through 3 or more Ofsted inspections
* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare
* Deep knowledge of safeguarding, child protection, and Ofsted frameworks
* A leader who can inspire, retain, and develop a motivated team
* Valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
