CK Group are recruiting for a Laboratory Technician, to join our client based in Penryn Cornwall. This is a permanent role, where the successful candidate will provide technical support within their laboratory.
This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday: 9am - 5pm.
The Laboratory Technician Role:
* Carrying out preparation of samples for analysis.
* Performing analysis using XRF / ICP / other techniques as required.
* Recording and reporting test results.
* Maintaining good laboratory practice and the highest standards of housekeeping and safety.
* Performing laboratory admin and housekeeping duties as directed.
* Assisting with bench-scale metallurgical test work as required.
Your Background:
* Degree/HND/HNC in Chemistry, or relevant discipline.
* Experience of working in a laboratory.
* Experience with using ICP and / or XRF for chemical analysis.
