This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a classroom setting, maintaining continuity of learning, and supporting students when teaching staff are absent. What to Expect in This Cover Supervisor Role: Supervise classes in the absence of the regular teacher, following pre-set lesson plans. Maintain a calm, positive, and focused learning environment. Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies. Support students with tasks and ensure they remain on track with their learning. Communicate effectively with teaching staff regarding lesson outcomes and any concerns. Requirements for This Cover Supervisor Role: Previous experience working with children or in a school setting is desirable. Strong communication and classroom management skills. Confidence in leading a classroom and engaging students. A professional, flexible, and proactive approach. An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one through GSL Education.
