Are you a hands-on mechanical engineer with a passion for precision and innovation?

We’re partnering with a world-class industrial automation company known for delivering cutting-edge robotic solutions to the aerospace, defence, and manufacturing sectors. With exciting new projects on the horizon, they’re looking for a Mechanical Build Engineer to join their growing team in Rotherham.


You’ll play a key role in building, assembling, and installing complex electromechanical systems that solve real-world industrial challenges.


🛠️ Your Key Responsibilities:

* Build and test bespoke automation systems to a high engineering standard
* Interpret and review mechanical technical drawings
* Collaborate across departments and provide technical feedback
* Identify and resolve mechanical/electrical faults on-site
* Travel to client sites for installation and commissioning
* Fit bearings, use DTIs, and work with tight tolerances

✅ What You’ll Bring:

* HNC, mechanical apprenticeship, or relevant hands-on experience
* Strong ability to read and work from technical mechanical drawings
* Experience with industrial mechanical builds, alignment, and precision tooling
* Full UK driving licence + willingness to travel
* Proactive mindset with a keen eye for detail
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
