Responsibilities
We have a great opportunity to join our Assets Commercial team as a Commercial Contracts Manager, reporting into the Senior Commercial Manager. As the subject matter expert, you will provide contracting support to our project managers and procurement teams for the review, drafting and negotiation of a broad range of commercial and contractual matters across frameworks and contracts, providing clarity and guidance on contractual issues, supporting the escalation and dispute process and ensuring all parties are aligned with the terms and commitments laid out within the contracts.
As Commercial Contracts Manager, you will ensure contracts are in compliance with legal, regulatory and organisation policies, and deploy control measures to monitor the contracting process to assure compliance with the organisation's contractual guidelines, commercial and contracting standards and mitigate client risk where appropriate.
You will act as a contract liaison, including participation in precontract discussions, contract negotiations and recommending and implementing contract changes through templates and change management.
Qualifications & Requirements
If you have experience in contract management, procurement or legal within the construction environment, we want to hear from you. You will have a strong commercial and contracting background in an NEC4 environment and previous experience negotiating complex framework contracts, managing multiple contracts simultaneously with a detail-oriented approach.
You will have good communication and presentation skills and be confident delivering to stakeholders both internally and externally. You can interpret and advise others on contractual documentation and risk profile.
