Assistive Technology Officer Degree Apprentice
We are looking for an ambitious and curious individual to join us in a role that sits at the heart of our work to ensure that every learner can access and benefit fully from their education, regardless of need or background. You will develop practical, in-demand digital and technical skills while studying towards a BSc (Hons) in Digital & Technology Solutions.
Responsibilities
* Maintain and develop specialist software and equipment.
* Support colleagues with technical issues.
* Contribute to projects that improve accessibility across our systems and learning environments.
* Create training materials and deliver workshops to help others understand and adopt assistive technology tools.
* Work closely with teaching staff, learning support teams, and IT colleagues, acting as a bridge between technology and the classroom.
* Build relationships with external partners and stay up to date with developments in accessibility and inclusive technology.
Qualifications
* Organised and proactive.
* Foundation in ICT with a genuine interest in how technology can remove barriers to learning.
* Comfortable working independently when needed, and able to collaborate and contribute as part of a wider team.
