Volunteer as a Hospital Companion and help bring comfort and a smile to someone
If you're someone who wants to offer comfort when it matters most, consider becoming a Marie Curie Companion Volunteer at Prince Charles Hospital. You'll support people with a terminal diagnosis simply by being present. Each week, you'll spend time with someone who needs a friendly face - offering conversation, sense pf calm, and genuine companionship.
Availability: Up to 3 hours per week - flexible to suit your schedule
Location: Ysbyty Cwm Cynon - Hospital
Criteria: Minimum 18 years of age
What you'll do:
* Spend time with someone each week
* Offer emotional support and companionship
* Share helpful info and connect families to local services
* Complete a basic report after each visit
