The successful HGV Technician will:
15. Conduct routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on HGVs according to manufacturer and industry standards
16. Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults efficiently
17. Accurately complete job cards and all related documentation
18. Maintain safety standards adhering to Health & Safety and DVSA regulations
19. Participate in rotating shift work supporting the workshop’s operational needs
20. Deliver high standards of quality and customer service in every task
The successful HGV Technician will have:
21. Fully qualified HGV Technician with NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification
22. Experience working in a commercial vehicle workshop environment
23. Knowledge of DAF or similar heavy vehicle brands is desirable
24. Strong diagnostic skills in mechanical and electrical fault finding
25. Adaptability to flexible shift patterns and a team-oriented mindset
26. Commitment to safety and quality standards
