Job summary
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Allied Health Professional (AHP) or Registered Nurse (RN) to join the corporate team to lead in the development and delivery of our falls prevention strategy. The role suits someone able to support ongoing management of patient falls, identify and implement medium and long-term strategies to reduce falls, undertake education and training of staff, and conduct audits and analysis of falls data.
The Falls Prevention Lead will be responsible for delivering training, education, and service improvements in this area. The post holder will establish high-quality healthcare practices through strong leadership, provide direction to staff across the Trust, and identify, monitor, and mitigate risks of falls. Under the guidance of the Chief Nursing Officer, the post holder will apply Quality Improvement methodologies to support Trust-wide projects focused on falls prevention.

Person Specification
Qualifications - Essential:
* Registered professional RN/AHP
* Educated to master’s level or equivalent qualification/training and experience
* Leadership/management course or equivalent experience
* Specialist knowledge of falls prevention and management
Qualifications - Desirable:
* Extensive experience working autonomously with vulnerable adults with complex presentations
* Experience in audit, research, and evidence-based practice
* Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships across professional boundaries
