Are you an experienced leader with a passion for delivering high-quality care and operational excellence? We’re seeking a proactive and dynamic Service Manager for one of our clients, to oversee a specialist residential service supporting individuals with complex needs.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide professional leadership and hands-on management to ensure the highest quality of care and service delivery.
* Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
* Ensure full regulatory compliance and adherence to all relevant legislation.
* Oversee recruitment, staff development, performance management, and employee relations.
* Manage service budgets, including capital and revenue expenditure.
* Champion a culture of empowerment, dignity, and person-centred care.
* Build strong relationships with external stakeholders, commissioners, and referrers to identify new business opportunities.
* Lead service reviews, audits, and improvement initiatives to maintain excellence.
* Take responsibility for safeguarding, health and safety, and risk management.
* Contribute to strategic planning and the development of service growth initiatives.
About You
You’re a motivated and compassionate leader who thrives on driving quality and innovation in care. You bring:
* QCF (NVQ) Level 5 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent qualification).
* Strong knowledge of care legislation, regulation, and best practice.
* Proven experience managing a high-quality residential or clinical service.
* Experience working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
* Ability to lead, coach, and motivate staff to achieve service excellence.
* Experience handling budgets, audits, and performance management.
* Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
* Flexibility to work occasional unsocial hours when required.
