Job Description
As we diversify and grow, we have been investing heavily in the high street. Recently, we purchased several shopping centres to expand our large freehold portfolio, leading to natural growth within the team.
This role will support the acquisition, purchase, and integration of new freeholds into our portfolio, whether by share or asset purchase, and help maintain the current portfolio, which includes approximately [number] tenants. Expect to move quickly between demands, participate in acquisitions, make commercial recommendations, and present to senior stakeholders.
* Produce and review Monthly Management Accounts, including cost lines, income streams, budgets, and forecasts.
* Manage one employee—assessing performance, demonstrating best practices, and developing future business leaders.
* Review and investigate variances between actual results and budgets/forecasts.
* Reconcile all relevant entities’ balance sheets.
* Own and present monthly finance reports to line managers and senior finance teams as required.
* Build relationships and act as a Business Partner for financial and numerical queries across departments such as Property, Commercial Analysts, Legal, and external managing agents.
* Support group and statutory audits for relevant entities.
* Assist with the integration of new acquisitions.
Qualifications
* Qualified ACCA/CIMA (further study support provided).
* Leadership and managerial experience.
* Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar finance role.
* Excellent IT skills, particularly MS Excel.
* Ambition to develop and grow a career in a commercial business.
