Field Service Engineer - Ricoh MFD / Print (Walking Role)
Location: Central London (Hybrid)
An established and growing provider of managed print and document solutions is looking to appoint a Field Service Engineer to support clients across Central London. This is an excellent opportunity to join a customer-focused business delivering industry-leading MFD technology, with a strong emphasis on service quality and long-term client relationships.
The Role
You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of MFDs and print equipment across your assigned region, ensuring a high standard of service delivery at all times.
Key responsibilities include: Installing, servicing and maintaining MFDs, printers and associated software Diagnosing and repairing faults both on-site and remotely Carrying out routine maintenance and preventative servicing Managing service calls efficiently in line with agreed SLAs Providing technical support and basic user training to customers Maintaining accurate service records and documentation * Building strong client relationships and representing the business professionally
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will have experience working within the MFD / print industry and be confident operating in a customer-facing field role.
You will ideally have: Proven experience as a Field Service Engineer within the MFD / print sector Strong working knowledge of Ricoh devices (essential) Experience with PaperCut or similar print management software (desirable, training can be provided) Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic skills Good IT and networking knowledge (TCP/IP, scanning, print drivers) Strong communication and customer service skills * A full UK driving licence
