Sales Manager
Buckinghamshire – 4 days pw on site/ EU travel
Copello is working with a defence client who are looking for a Sales Manager support the development and sales of the Company’s products within global military and aerospace markets. This includes building strong relationships with equipment and airframe OEMs, promoting products to end users worldwide, and maintaining effective routes to market across the assigned geographic territory
Key responsibilities
* Agreeing and managing sales order intake targets for the company’s products into a defined geographic sales territory.
* Provide sales product management support for the sales team for a key product marketed by the Company.
* Definition and maintenance of the appropriate routes to market for the assigned territory.
* Maintenance and timely reporting of the forecast order intake pipeline for the territory.
* Identify and manage the justification of new product development opportunities through the initial phases of the bid cycle.
* Working in a coordinated way within the sales team, working towards team goals
Qualifications and experience
* Appropriate first Degree or equivalent, preferably in a technical or business discipline
* Experience with two years selling technical products into defence, aerospace or government markets
* Business Development experience
* Experience of people management in the sales environment
* Experience of international sales
* Preferably experience of marketing products, equipment to OEMs in a security, military and commercial environments
