Gas Service Engineer in Northamptonshire
We are looking for a Domestic Gas Engineer for a mobile contract in Northamptonshire. The role involves boiler servicing, installations, maintenance, breakdowns, fault finding and completing gas safety certificates.
* Perform various aspects of boiler servicing and installation.
* Complete gas safety certificates.
* Work independently in a safe and methodical manner.
* Support non‑trade maintenance operatives and work closely with housing teams.
Must be domestic gas qualified with at least 3 years working experience, have a clean driving licence and a basic criminal record check.
Vehicle is provided. 37.5 hours per week, 07:00–18:00, Mon‑Fri. Contract: long‑term with opportunity to convert to permanent.
Gas Service & Repair Engineer – Northampton
Experience required: 5 years in gas industry, 3‑5 days per week, consecutive days.
* Execute gas installations of new boilers and appliances.
* Perform safety checks and adapt to Gas Safe regulations and building regulations.
* Attend servicing and breakdowns, upgrade systems, fit and replace parts.
* Order parts as required.
* Provide excellent customer service and maintain strong client relationships.
Qualifications: ACS (required), valid driving licence, public liability £2‑5 Million, own van and tools.
Referral scheme – £150 per candidate who starts.
Field Service Engineer (Oil & Gas) – Milton Keynes
Field‑based role requiring significant travel to UK and potentially international client sites.
Key Responsibilities:
* Install, commission and test new equipment at client locations.
* Perform routine maintenance and servicing on specialised machinery.
* Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and hydraulic issues.
* Provide technical support and guidance to clients.
* Document work in detailed service reports and recommendations.
* Respond to emergency call‑outs.
* Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations.
* Liaise with engineering and sales teams.
* Manage spare parts inventory and tools.
* Undertake training to stay up to date on new product developments.
Requirements: 3‑5 years experience as a Field Service Engineer, preferably in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical or Heavy Industry; Mechanical or Electrical Engineering qualification; UK driving licence; strong diagnostic skills and ability to read technical drawings.
Gas Engineer – Temporary Ongoing (Northampton & East Midlands)
Hours: 8 am – 6 pm, Monday–Friday. Salary: £20.40 per hour.
Summary: Hands‑on problem solver responsible for boiler servicing, installation, maintenance, breakdowns and gas safety certificates.
* Perform gas installations, safety checks and ensure adherence to Gas Safe regulations.
* Conduct servicing and breakdowns, upgrade systems, fit and replace parts.
* Provide support to non‑trade maintenance operatives and housing teams.
Requirements: Valid UK driving licence; strong communication and proactive approach; independent work ability.
Service & Breakdown Engineer (PAYE) – South LE / NN
Responsibilities include servicing, repairing and maintaining gas systems across social housing, domestic, commercial and industrial settings, while ensuring safety and compliance with health and environmental policies.
* Execute servicing and repairs in line with legislation and industry standards.
* Deliver excellent customer service and maintain relationships with clients and tenants.
* Adhere to Health, Safety and Environmental policies.
Requirements: ACS qualifications (CKR1 & HTR1), valid Gas Safe registration, full UK driving licence, strong diagnostic and problem‑solving skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desirables: Oil, LPG or Unvented qualifications; minimum 3 years experience as a Gas Safe‑qualified engineer.
Commercial Gas Boiler Engineer – Nationwide
Day‑to‑day responsibilities: install, service, maintain, and repair industrial steam and hot water boilers and associated plant equipment. Mobile role covering planned and reactive work nationwide.
* Experienced with steam and hot water boilers, burners & controls.
* Qualified Commercial Gas Engineer (COCN1).
* Full UK driving licence.
* LPG / Gas Boosters / TCP1 / Electrical qualifications – desirable.
* Must have UK right to work.
