Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen to work as a receptionist in the Nant Y Glyn Community Mental Health Team. The purpose of this post is to provide an efficient and comprehensive administration and reception service for the service. The post holder will work alongside the multi-disciplinary team and support in offering seamless care for the population of North Wales.
Note: The ability to speak Welsh is essential for this post.
Responsibilities
* Provide comprehensive reception and clerical support for the Mental Health Service
* Demonstrate a courteous, professional and sensitive manner at all times
* Prioritise tasks, manage time effectively and demonstrate a high degree of flexibility
* Be part of a cohesive and integrated admin function of the service
* Maintain strict confidentiality when dealing with patients, carers, relatives, medical/clinical staff and other service users, using the telephone and in writing with courtesy and discretion
Essential qualifications and experience
* Good standard of education – GCSE Maths and English Grade C or equivalent
* NVQ Level 2 in Customer Service / Business Administration, or equivalent knowledge and experience, or willingness to work towards
* Knowledge of a range of administrative processes
* Able to travel to meet the requirements of the post
* Welsh Speaker level 3 or above

* Excellent communication skills
* Able to function under pressure and meet deadlines
* Good knowledge of IT and Windows applications
