Accountancy Recruit is partnering with a medical equipment supplier, in the recruitment of a Finance Manager, to take sole responsibility for the accounts function for two subsidiaries from start to finish, reporting to the CEO, based in central Cambridge. This is a varied, interesting, and responsible role, in which you can drive forward the finance function within the broader business.
You will be detail-oriented, with a strong knowledge of best practice accounting and compliance standards. This is a medium volume transactional environment, with the need for detailed financial analysis and reporting of KPIs including costs, spend, monitoring budgets and cash flow forecasting.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sole charge, autonomous responsibility for maintaining the entire accounts function for two subsidiary companies using Xero.
2. Financial Record Maintenance: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries.
3. Bank Reconciliation: Perform regular bank reconciliations between Barclays and Revolut to ensure all transactions are properly accounted for and discrepancies are addressed promptly. Chase all team members for any outstanding receipts ensuring that all transactions are coded correctly and efficiently in order to optimise reporting.
