Band 7 Clinical Nurse Specialist – Lead ENP for Minor Injuries Unit (1 Permanent Full Time Position).
Responsibilities
* Clinical, professional and managerial responsibility on a 24‑hour basis including all clinical and governance issues.
* Provide strong leadership and excellent communication skills, with the ability to develop and support staff with clinical expertise.
* Function effectively under pressure without compromising basic standards of care and professionalism.
* Manage a dedicated team to deliver nursing care of the highest standards to patients, working under pressure.
Qualifications and Experience
* Advanced clinical expertise and relevant qualifications.
* Willingness to participate in research and audit projects.
* Considerable post‑qualification experience essential.
* PVG Scheme membership/record for the required regulatory group (child and/or adult).
* Legal right to work in the United Kingdom.
Terms and Conditions
* Hours: 37 hours per week – rotational shift pattern over 7 days, including both days and evenings (10–12½ hour shifts).
* Location: Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh.
