Overview
We are looking to appoint a Teacher of Science to join Royton & Crompton Academy. The successful candidate will develop, plan and deliver effective and high-quality learning experiences for all students, with a focus on helping each learner reach their full potential.
Responsibilities
* Have high expectations of learners to ensure they achieve their full educational potential
* Select and prepare a range of resources that take into account all students' learning needs, languages and cultural backgrounds
* Ensure student data is accurate and submitted within school deadlines for reporting and analysis
* Consistently demonstrate the positive values, attitudes and behaviour expected of students
* Know how to use skills in literacy, numeracy and ICT to support teaching and wider professional activities
Qualifications
* Degree in subject specialism
* Knowledge of and/or ability to use technology to support student learning
* Ability to form good working relationships with all staff
* Ability to support staff and students in maintaining high standards
