The purpose of the role:
This role provides the opportunity to assist in delivering an action-packed sponsorships calendar as well as making a real difference for our charity partners and supporting in activating the Group's PR function through both traditional and digital channels.

Working as Corporate Marketing Administrative Assistant your duties will include:

• Administration: Administrative duties including but not limited to: customer service enquiries, imagery archive requests, promotional stock management, voucher distribution and developing presentations/reports.
• Events: Provide support for the execution of diverse and engaging events. Examples include SPAR/EUROSPAR store openings, conferences, award ceremonies, charity fundraising initiatives, and customer hospitality events.
• Sponsorships: Contribute to the coordination of key sponsorship events, involving branding, product support and ticket distribution. Examples include the Balmoral Show, SPAR Craic 10k, Omagh ½ marathon, School Sports Days, and the W5/Belfast Giants and Ulster Rugby partnerships.
• Community Sponsorships: Assist in evaluating community sponsorship requests through the Thrive CSR Portal and Customer Services Team, ensuring alignment with Company policy. Arrange support where feasible to contribute to the well-being of the neighbourhoods in which we operate.
• PR: Collaborate with our PR agency to assist with press release content for various initiatives, including SPAR/EUROSPAR/VIVO/VIVOXTRA store openings and anniversaries. Assist in organising photocall requests and developing monthly reports.
• Digital: Monitor corporate website updating information where relevant

Skills for Success

Joining us as Corporate Marketing Administrative Assistant the minimum criteria you’ll need is:
• Previous experience in administration, preferably in a similar role
• Full UK/EU driving license

The Attributes you’ll need include:
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Ability to use initiative
• Excellent attention to detail


It is desirable if you have:
• Experience of working across all Microsoft packages, with particular emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint
• Interest in marketing, PR or events industry
• Previous experience working in Retail, Hospitality or Events

This is a part-time position working 17.5 hours per week. Working hours will be 10am-1:30pm Monday to Friday. Hybrid and flexible working arrangement available.
