Overview
The Best Connection have an exciting opportunity to recruit a Class 2 drivers based around the Dartford area.
As a Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for delivering stone flooring products to sites and warehouses across Kent and parts of London. Drops can vary on a daily basis.
Hours of work
* Starts at 07:00; the client operates a 5-day working week (not including weekends); typical shifts are 8-10 hours.
Pay Rate
* £17 per hour PAYE. Overtime rate available after 40 hours.
Duties
* Delivery of stone flooring products to warehouses and customer sites
* Driving Class C lorry
* Deliver to areas in SE, London and Kent
* Daily vehicle checks to ensure the vehicle is safe to drive
To be eligible for this position
* Category C licence with a maximum of 6 points
* Minimum 1 year of previous commercial driving experience
* London driving experience
* Must be physically fit as there is some heavy lifting
* Customer-facing skills
