Overview
Join our team as a Pharmacist at Asda. This role involves delivering frontline NHS services as well as Private services, ensuring safety, strong leadership, and collaborative teamwork to deliver excellent patient care.
Location: Skelmersdale. Employment type: Permanent, Part time. Shift pattern: Days. Hours per week: 30. Salary: Competitive salary plus benefits. Closing date: 31 October 2025.
Responsibilities
* Dispense medications accurately and efficiently.
* Deliver NHS and private pharmacy services and lead a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Manage services in line with company SOPs and GPhC standards; conduct contractual and enhanced services.
* Support the Pharmacy Practice Manager to meet agreed KRAs and deliver continuous service improvement.
* Engage with in-store, regional, and home-office teams for clinical and service support; provide regular feedback and business updates.
* Participate in ongoing training and seek additional accreditations funded by Asda.
Qualifications
* Fully qualified pharmacist registered with the GPhC.
* Accredited to deliver NHS and local/private services.
* Able to provide excellent customer and patient care.
* Demonstrated leadership skills in a fast-paced pharmacy environment.
* Right to work in the UK and safeguarding qualifications.
* DBS check and enrolment in the live update service required; be prepared to demonstrate qualifications and identity when requested.
