We now have an exciting opportunity for a Buyer Vaping and Tobacco to join our High Street Impulse Trading team at our Support Centre in Swindon.
The role of a Buyer is to drive the commercial performance of your category, managing with scale and complexity. You will need relevant experience in the Vape/Tobacco industry and be the key decision maker with the autonomy to deliver your category strategy.
What you will be doing:
* Leading a key category for the business
* Managing our Tobacco range and pricing to deliver value for customers and the business
* Driving nicotine alternatives beyond conventional tobacco by improving the range, promoting products, and coordinating media campaigns
* Accountable for the P&L of Tobacco, ensuring costs, sales, and supplier income targets are met
* Creating pricing and promotional strategies for nicotine alternatives to boost sales
* Identifying new trends and suppliers to ensure a competitive customer offering
* Negotiating and managing supplier relationships, including strategy and terms improvements
* Generating initiatives to increase sales and profitability
* Aligning category and trade plans with the overall business strategy
* Delivering projects and trials with cross-functional engagement

* Experience in buying/commercial roles within Tobacco and Vaping categories, with strong negotiation skills
* A sense of urgency and ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
